Each year Lodi School District high school seniors are given an opportunity to win an essay contest for a scholarship. Last year's recipient, Elisabeth Cotton who attended Jim Elliot Christian High School, won a $1,000 scholarship to Pepperdine University. She modeled a dress from Pret.

This year, the Lodi Republican Women's Scholarship Fashion Show and Luncheon is being held at Woodbridge Golf and Country Club on May 4 at 11 a.m.

There are 144 seats to fill and tickets are $25 each. Lunch will be Cobb Salad and carrot cake for dessert. The fashions will be from the Lodi shops of Fashion Safari, Pret, Stella Boutique and Robinson's Feed Western Wear department.

From Stockton, will be Draper's and Damon's, Chico's and Dress Barn.

The emcee will be Linda Halligan, store manager from Draper's and Damon's. There will be three models from each shop for a total of 21 models wearing two ensembles each.

There will also be raffle items and a silent auction with donations from local businesses.

For tickets and reservations, call 209-334-9366.
