Lodi-Tokay Rotary is seeking Santa.

On Dec.17, Lodi-Tokay Rotary, in partnership with Lodi Adopt-A-Child, will be hosting a holiday party to give toys to very deserving local girls and boys. The party will be held at the Lodi Boys and Girls Club from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Santa will most likely be very busy in preparations at the North Pole at that time. However, if a local stand-in could help, Lodi-Tokay Rotary and Lodi Adopt-A-Child would greatly appreciate the assistance.

Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Lodi Adopt-A-Child was begun to fill an obvious need observed within the community of Lodi that touches the lives of many youths. Not all children are born into equal financial status and often miss an opportunity to grow into a productive citizen of the community. Lodi Adopt-A-Child is designed to give the disadvantaged/abused youths of our community that opportunity.
