The next regular meeting of the Lodi Garden Club will be on Jan. 7, 2010. For this one meeting only, we will meet at the Church of God Fellowship Hall, 2100 Tienda Dr. in Lodi.

As usual the conservation table will be open for business at 11:15 a.m. and the sandwich and dessert luncheon will begin at noon.

We are pleased to present Lee Miller, a member of the Linden Garden Club, who will speak to us about "The Wonder of Gladiolas."

The business meeting will follow the speaker. We welcome new members and anyone interested in joining the club may contact Marsha Griffith , membership chairman, at 334-5988.

At last month's Christmas luncheon we honored several members who have been with the club many years. They are Ruth Nies (55 years), Lorene Hoffman and Irene Keszler (52 years), Leona Guglimette and Delores Munro (45 years) and Ruth Jamieson and Mae Heinitz for 20 years of membership. The members enjoyed this annual event at the Woodbridge Golf and Country Club. Music was furnished by "Just Having Fun" musicians Betty Stover and Lisa Shaw with a sing-a-long of Christmas tunes led by Garden Club member Joyce Dickoff.
