Lodi Elks Lodge No. 1900 donated $1,000 to Lodi’s Boys and Girls Club, ensuring its commitment to help the youth in our community.

On May 18th, Armed Forces Day, Elks Lodge No. 1900 held its 5th annual car show, co-sponsored by Hal Laney and his grandson, Kenny Laney. Free hot dogs were served to all veterans and current military personnel.

Dallas Knapp volunteered to play 1950s music.

There were awards handed out to all the vintage cars that placed. There was food, dancing, a door prize and raffles. Proceeds of $300 from the raffle went to the Elks Major Project, which helps children with disabilities. This event was a success thanks to the Elk volunteer members who were: Dave and Sandy Telles, Norm Gaskill, John Rochon, Nancy Politano, Nancy Sanguinetti and Roger Hushour. Members who donated raffle prizes and local business who donated their time and raffle prizes were: Graffigna Brothers, Stokes Farms, Bruce’s Tire, GPS Auto Solutions, Wicks Filters, Performance Warehouse and Linda Lavery’s Homemade Soap.
