The Lodi Business and Professional Women’s Club will be holding its dinner meeting on Tuesday at Pietro’s Italian Restaurant, 317 E. Kettleman Lane. Time for networking is at 6 p.m. with dinner following at 6:30 p.m. Merry Donahue, president, will be conducting the meeting.

Special guest speaker for the evening will be Ruth Alexander, of Stockton, who in November 2010 became a heart transplant recipient. Today she is a member of Mended Hearts, Inc. and is being trained to visit patients suffering from heart related problems to alleviate their fear of a procedure they may need.

Reservations for this meeting are required and may be made by calling 368-3345 on or before Saturday. Visitors are welcome to attend. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month.
