For more than 30 years, the Lodi Eagles, Aerie No. 848 have hosted an annual Christmas Day breakfast. This past Christmas was no different, with more than 200 people attending and Eagle members playing Santa and putting smiles on approximately 40 children’s faces. Twenty children received bikes or scooters.

Three were donated by Jack Greenlee, two by Lester Wagner, and 13 bikes and two scooters were donated by the Eagles. The rest was taken care of by Santa. Every child recieved a gift, donated by the Eagles and every person had a goodie bag, which included candies and various fruit.

This yearly event is made possible with the help of the Lodi Eagles Women’s Auxiliary. Special thanks to Jack Greenlee who donated bikes and his time repairing all the donated bikes; and Lester Wagner for his bike donation and kitchen help, and all the kitchen helpers, Ann Guenther for acting as event photographer year after year and to the Lodi Eagles Aerie No. 848 for hosting this annual event at their new location, 217 E. Lockeford St.
