Lodi Mexican-American Lions Club installs officers

The Lodi Mexican-American Lions Club recently conducted its Installation ceremony for new officers for the year commencing July 1. They are Dave Sanchez, immediate past president; Dennis Noble, past district director and installation official; Antionio ‘Tony’ Amador, incoming president; Ruben Becerra, 1st vice president; David Ochoa, 3rd vice president; Tom Gomez, treasurer; Sheila Haro, secretary; and Antonio Morales, lion tamer.

The Mexican/American Lions Club is a non-profit organization with a long-standing history of supporting a number of community events and/or needs in the Lodi area. Such involvements include serving lunches at the San Joaquin Blood Bank, educational scholarships, conducting high school speaker contests, supporting local school and sport youth groups, and supporting Camp Pacifica, a camp dedicated to special needs children and young adults.
