Connie During receives fellowship award

Connie During was selected by the Lodi Branch of the American Association of University Women as the named gift honoree for the 2010 AAUW Funds Fellowship Award.

She has been a member since 2000 and has participated in numerous branch activities and held many positions of responsibility, including recording secretary, membership co-chair, program co-chair and two terms as legal advocacy fund co-chair. She is also the editor of the branch newsletter, “The Cordon.”  

AAUW Funds is a program of the national AAUW which includes the legal advocacy fund and the educational foundation.

The fellowship award recognizes the contributions to a branch by a member which reflects commitment to AAUW policies and their dedication to working toward achieving the goals of the AAUW Mission, which is to “advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.”
