Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, the Lodi Police Department received 166 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.
Broken glass: 8:49 a.m. — A man was banging on a window trying to break it on the 1000 block of West Kettleman Lane.
It's a satchel: 8:56 a.m. — A man with long hair wearing a black leather jacket was seen carrying a brown leather purse on the 2400 block of Vine Street.
Can't auction those: 12:03 p.m. — Several guns were found in a storage unit heading for auction on the 900 block of Beckman Road.
Troublemakers: 12:51 p.m. — A group of 30 juveniles were causing a disturbance and running into the street on the 500 block of Kettleman Lane.
Offbeat store: 12:58 p.m. — Two men were selling speakers out of the back of a brown car in the Walmart parking lot on the 2300 block of Kettleman Lane.
Gross: 1:20 p.m. — A man was urinating on the premises of a business on the 2400 block of Cochran Road.
Raise the roof: 2:49 p.m. — Subjects working on the roof of a residence on the 800 block of Rutledge Drive were being loud and drinking.
Collections bin: 2:55 p.m. — A black backpack full of items was dumped in the garbage can of a home on the 900 block of Hutchins Street.
Impressing the ladies: 3:06 p.m. — A young boy was shooting a BB gun at passing cars from his front porch on the 1300 block of School Street. Two girls were also on the porch.
No taxis in Lodi: 4:16 p.m. — A woman in a brown jacket and boots was asking people for a ride to Stockton on the 2300 block of Kettleman Lane.
Shots fired: 9:05 p.m. — Two shots were heard on the 900 block of Woodrow Street.
This is the lottery, right?: 9:51 p.m. — A man was lingering near an ATM machine on the 700 block of Ham Lane and possibly trying to break into it.
Oops: 10:12 p.m. — A drunk man with dirty pants was sitting in the alley on the 500 block of Century Boulevard.
Please let the dogs out: 6:48 a.m. — Four dogs were left locked on school grounds on the 1200 block of Lilac Street.
