Since 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 182 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Don’t forget: 8:23 a.m. — Officers needed to pick up canine equipment left behind from another day on the 1200 block of South Central Avenue.
Mole hunt: 8:49 a.m. — Shots were reported from the 1000 block of Yuloni Drive. It was believed to be related to a nearby resident having “moles eradicated.”
Welfare check: 12:03 p.m. — Officers were called to the 1300 block of Tienda Drive to check on a male laying in the gutter.
Animal call: 1:34 p.m. — A chihuahua was locked in a silver sport utility vehicle on the 800 block of East Kettleman Lane.
Car chase: 3:25 p.m. — A black vehicle was chasing a white one on the 800 block of South Central Avenue. The caller said the black vehicle was “all over the road.”
Harassing texts: 3:27 p.m. — A person came to the 200 block of West Elm Street to complain about bothersome calls and text messages from an ex.
Did you pay the bill?: 6:45 p.m. — Subjects inside an apartment on the 200 block of Eureka Avenue were complaining about having no power.
That’s why you don’t pay up-front: 7:42 p.m. — Two males on the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane offered to fix a caller’s vehicle but left the scene after receiving the repair money. The repairs were not done, the caller said.
Fight: 9:16 p.m. — Two females were fighting on the 900 block of Mason Street.
Probably merits a follow-up: 11:48 p.m. — A caller on the 400 block of Daisy Avenue reported loud subjects and a lot of “short-stay” traffic in the area.
Have you had your break today?: 6:37 a.m. — A white female adult was sitting in front of the McDonald’s on the 200 block of West Lodi Avenue yelling profanities.
