Between the hours of 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, The Lodi Police Department received 156 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


Suspicious: 8:18 a.m. — A man loitering in a neighborhood made comments about a cop being after him on the 1600 block of Foxborough Way.

Suspicious: 9:21 a.m. — Someone noticed that an open bottle of vodka was sitting in a truck on the 2300 block of West Turner Road.

Suspicious: 10:50 a.m. — A man was laying on grass, possibly napping, on the 400 block of East Century Boulevard.

Theft: 11:48 a.m. — Someone’s American flag was stolen from his home on the 500 block of Swallow Lane.

Special service: 12:10 p.m. — Someone was locked out of her house on the balcony on the 400 block of Almond Road.

Theft: 4:44 p.m. — A group of men wheeled a shopping cart full of items out of a store and then came back and tried to return the items on the 1300 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.

Fire: 5:55 p.m. — Excessive smoke was coming from an oven on the 400 block of Mission Street.

Suspicious: 8:01 p.m. — Someone saw a man climb through a window on the 200 block of Henderson Way.


Disturbance: 3:18 a.m. — One man pushed another man on the 400 block of East Pine Street.
