Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 456 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.
Possible drugs: 10:04 a.m. — A man found a bag with a white substance in the 400 block of East Walnut Street.
Shady ice cream machine: 2:35 p.m. — A caller thought someone stole an ice cream maker in the 2500 block of Winchester Drive.
Store theft: 3:39 p.m. — Someone stole about $3,000 worth of merchandise from a store in the 2900 block of Reynolds Ranch Parkway.
Drunk in street: 5:31 p.m. — A drunk male in a wheelchair was in the middle of the street near the corner of Garfield and Railroad avenues.
Playing Santa Claus: 6:39 p.m. — Three young children were running on top of a roof in the 300 block of Louie Avenue.
A traffic dilemma: 7:36 p.m. — A traffic light was out and people were running it in the 400 block of West Lodi Avenue.
Mooning: 9:35 p.m. — Six juveniles were in front of a church, and one pulled down his pants and showed the caller "his buttocks."
Attempted break in: 1:18 a.m. — After hearing suspicious noises, a caller got up to find a man standing at the front door with no shirt on in the 1400 block of West Elm Street.
Gunshots: 8:19 a.m. — Two callers heard gunshots close to the park in the 500 block of East Elm Street.
Unattended child: 11:31 a.m. — There was a 3- or 4-year-old running in the street unattended in the 300 block of North Fairmont Avenue.
Identity theft: 12:18 p.m. — An individual was using the caller's name to open credit cards in the 400 block of Forrest Avenue.
New way to find lost things: 4:41 p.m. — A caller located his stolen iPad using a GPS and would like a civil standby to try and get it in the 200 block of Eden Street.
BB gun attacks: 7:36 p.m. — Three juveniles were shooting BB guns at the corner of Palomar Drive and Starr Drive.
Caught in the act: 10:04 p.m. — A group of subjects were throwing toilet paper on a house at the corner of the 2600 block of Alder Glen Drive.
Red light running: 10:51 p.m. — A white truck was driving erratically and already ran a red light in the 100 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Head injury: 12:59 a.m. — A male was beaten up and had a head injury in the 100 block of North Sacramento Street.
Drunk man: 2:22 a.m. — A drunk male was passed out in the 300 block of North California Street.
Bike theft: 2:10 p.m. — Two teenage females stole bikes belonging to the caller's son and his friend in the 300 block of North Ham Lane.
Creating a skate park: 4:35 p.m. — There were seven to eight teens riding bikes and skateboards in the courtyard of a school in the 1800 block of West Elm Street.
Throwing things off the overpass: 6:21 p.m. — People on the overpass were throwing something off and hitting vehicles in the 0 block of West Turner Road.
If you are going to steal something, you should probably leave: 11:43 p.m. — A male stole chips and then decided to use the restroom in the 600 block of East Victor Road.
Good Samaritan: 7:53 a.m. — There was a found wallet in the 0 block of North Cherokee Lane, and a person brought it into the police lobby.
