Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 527 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.


Rocky three: 7:12 p.m. — Three juveniles were throwing rocks at a passing train crossing Kettleman Lane and putting rocks on the track.


No more phone calls: 9:34 p.m. — A man walking on South Central Avenue near Maple Street has his cellphone taken from his hand. No weapons were seen. Six people were last seen running toward Washington Street.


Shoe-throwing showdown: 2:04 a.m. — Six people were throwing shoes during a disturbance on School Street, just south of Pine Street.

Robbery: 8:22 p.m. — Someone was struck on the head and had his wallet, keys and identification stolen on Railroad Avenue near Cherokee Lane.


I don't wanna: 7:59 a.m. — A 6-year-old boy refused to go to school, and the police were called to do something about it.
