Between the hours of 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, The Lodi Police Department received 126 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Choo-choo: 8:16 a.m. — A woman reported that a metal section was missing from a railroad track, causing her to fall after her bike got stuck on the 0 block of East Elm Street and Union Pacific Railroad.
Needles: 10:56 a.m. — Needles were sitting on a porch on the 0 block of East Lodi Avenue.
Hide: 11:37 a.m. — A white pit bull was loose on the 0 block of West Elm Street and North School Street.
Quiet down: 1:17 p.m. — Five or six men were on a sun porch yelling and cursing loudly on the 100 block of Louie Avenue.
Go away: 2:47 p.m. — Two men were soliciting for security systems without identification on the 700 block of South Church Street.
Time out: 4:09 p.m. — An out-of-control juvenile was at a teen center even though he was grounded on the 200 block of South Hutchins Street.
Take a hint: 6:16 p.m. — A black female was refusing to leave a business on the 2400 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Put it back: 8:25 p.m. — A black male attempted to take $300 worth of merchandise on the 2400 block of West Kettleman Street.
Shots fired: 8:33 p.m. — Three shots were heard on the 100 block of South Washington Street.
Harassment: 12:29 a.m. — A person was receiving harassing and threatening text messages on the 300 block of Stanislaus Street.
