Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday the Lodi Police Department received 129 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.

Wednesday

Another's treasure: 8:07 a.m. — A subject was going through trash cans on the 700 block of South School Street.

Born in a barn: 11:01 a.m. — A red Toyota Tacoma had the doors left open on the 1300 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.

Miscommunication: 11:11 a.m. — Two men were talking over walkie-talkies in front of the Credit Union on the 300 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.

Watering the plants: 12:36 p.m. — A man was reported to be urinating in the bushes on the 100 block of West Elm Street.

Landscaping by car: 4:10 p.m. — A white ford SUV occupied by several subjects was driving on the grass on the 2000 block of South Stockton Street.

Knock-knock: 4:30 p.m. — Two men were going door to door and loitering on the 1100 block of Bridgetown Drive.

Let's make a deal: 5:43 p.m. — A man was going door-to-door asking for money on the 2400 block of Eilers Lane.

Alley cat: 7:42 p.m. — An intoxicated person was wandering in an alley on the 500 block of East Elm Street.

Garage free-for-all: 8:54 p.m. — Items were stolen from a garage on the 100 block of Scarborough Drive.

Thursday

I am closing this bar!: 12:23 a.m. — A man was refusing to leave a bar on the 100 block of North Sacramento Street.
