In the 120 hours after 9 a.m. Oct. 28, the Lodi Police Department received 808 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:

Oct. 28

Someone might trash it: 11:50 a.m. — A white Lexus was parked in a handicap spot in a corner parking lot in the 700 block of South Ham Lane.

Now anyone can dunk: 2:26 p.m. — A basketball hoop had blown over and was blocking the roadway in the 700 block of Donner Court.

She’s not happy: 4:26 p.m. — A caller said they were just threatened by their ex-girlfriend in the 1600 block of Saratoga Way.

Hammer time: 4:55 p.m. — A caller was threatened by a neighbor with a hammer in the 700 block of North Church Street.

Get the honk outta here: 7:22 p.m. — A juvenile on a scooter with a loud horn kept honking it in the 0 block of Genie Way.

Bad for the ozone: 7:44 p.m. — A Dumpster was on fire in the 400 block of Almond Drive.

Walking on broken glass: 10:29 p.m. — Several transients were breaking glass on benches and a playground in the 200 block of East Locust Street.


Crazed kid: 12:24 a.m. — A juvenile was out of control at a residence in the 700 block of North Pleasant Avenue.

F-bombs from fellas: 2:07 a.m. — Five to six males were in front of a business in the 300 block of North California Street, being loud and using profanities.

Little early for that: 4:59 a.m. — A male and female in a white sedan had the radio too loud in the 500 block of West Oak Street.

Sick kid: 11:04 a.m. — A student was vomiting and had suffered a hit on the head in the 1100 block of West Century Boulevard.

Bad baby daddy: 11:58 a.m. — A female caller in the 200 block of Flora Street said her baby’s daddy had not returned the car she loaned him, and had caught her car on fire.

I don’t wanna work ... : 2:47 p.m. — The sound of loud drums was being heard from a garage in the 1800 block of Autumn Way.

Wrong phone to steal: 3:17 p.m. — A cell phone with GPS tracking capabilities was stolen at a school in the 0 block of South Pacific Avenue.

Listen to your friend: 5:18 p.m. — An intoxicated male was trying to get into a silver car in the 1900 block of Millbrook Drive, and another male was attempting to stop him.

Stabbing: 7:11 p.m. — A female was stabbed by a suspect in a red Buick in the 200 block of North Cherokee Lane.

That’s not suspicious: 10:04 p.m. — Two males with flashlights entered a vacant house in the 700 block of South Lee Avenue.


Watering the lawn: 1:41 a.m. — A subject was being loud and urinating in a caller’s yard in the 1600 block of Scarborough Drive.

What’s with the peeing?: 8:31 a.m. — An intoxicated male in a blue baseball jacket urinated next to a caller’s building in the 100 block of West Walnut Street.

An awkward proposition: 11:47 a.m. — A caller said someone requested money in exchange for having sex with them in the 300 block of West Century Boulevard.

It happens often: 1:04 p.m. — A male was going through garbage in the 2400 block of Eilers Lane.

But that’s a first: 4:11 p.m. — A subject was defecating on a lawn in the 0 block of East Oak Street.

Someone’s missing that: 5:17 p.m. — A wallet was found in the 100 block of South Sacramento Street.

An eye drop?: 7:14 p.m. — A male was bleeding from the eye, which had possibly come out in the 400 block of Kensington Way.

Just chilling and boozing: 8:06 p.m. — Six males were sitting and drinking in front of apartments in the 0 block of North Central Avenue.

Ooo! Aah!: 10:25 p.m. — Fireworks were going off in the 300 block of Forrest Avenue.


The party hasn’t stopped: 4:40 a.m. — A loud music complaint was made in the 1200 block of West Harney Lane.

That’s just gross: 10:14 a.m. — A female said she found human feces in front of her bus in the 200 block of North Sacramento Street, and thought it looked recent.

What’s the problem? 2:28 p.m. — Subjects were playing basketball in a church parking lot in the 700 block of South Hutchins Street.

Maybe those houses had bad candy: 6:48 p.m. — Five-to-six juvenile boys were throwing eggs at residences in the 200 block of Cherry Street.

On a sugar rush: 7:44 p.m. — Juveniles were jumping on a power box and were trying to remove the stop sign at a parking lot entrance in the 1100 block of West Century Boulevard.

He didn’t want to: 7:53 p.m. — Five juveniles were drinking alcohol and trick or treating in the 1900 block of Scarborough Drive. One juvenile asked the caller if he wanted to get high.

Filmed in Creep-O-Vision: 8:05 p.m.. — A subject was using a videocamera on children coming to the door in the 2900 block of Rosewood Drive.

It’s not July 4: 8:41 p.m. — Ten-to-twelve juveniles were in front of a residence in the 800 block of Eucalyptus Court lighting fireworks.

Don’t plug anything in: 9:59 p.m. — An electrical outlet had been on fire in the 2300 block of West Tokay Street, and was now red and hot to the touch.


Was she too buzzed?: 12:41 a.m. — A drunk male threw a beer at a bar in the 100 block of West Pine Street because he was upset with a female wearing a bumble bee outfit.

You’re not going anywhere: 9:31 a.m. — Several vehicles had slashed tires in the 100 block of Mulberry Circle.

Nobody thinks you’re cool: 10:54 a.m. — A brick wall in the 200 block of South Ham Lane was vandalized with graffiti. The graffiti included the image of a swastika.

Always watch your glass, ladies: 1:47 p.m. — A male and female had ordered wine in the 100 block of South School Street, and a caller said they saw the male put something in the woman’s glass.

A tiny studio apartment: 2:08 p.m. — A caller said someone was possibly living in his storage unit in the 300 block of North Main Street.

Head games: 3:22 p.m. — A dead rat with its head cut off was left on a caller’s lawn in the 1700 block of Millbrook Drive. The caller said it was an ongoing issue.
