After 8 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department received 168 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:

Tuesday

Backpack merchandise is always quality: 9:37 a.m. — A drunk young male was selling items out of a backpack in the 100 block of South Central Avenue.

Probably not the best place to pee: 11:25 a.m. — A drunk male urinated on the wall of the firehouse on the 200 block of West Elm Street.

Reefer madness!: 1:15 p.m. — Two transients were behind the building possibly smoking drugs in the 800 block of East Kettleman Lane.

Why bother counterfeiting $10?: 1:16 p.m. — There was a woman who came into the lobby with a fake $10 bill that she received in the 200 block of West Lockeford Street.

Skipping rocks ... through traffic: 2:58 p.m. — About eight kids were throwing rocks at passing cars in the 1200 block of West Oak Street.

Might want to find some clothes: 4:08 p.m. — A naked female was screaming in a park in the 300 block of North Washington Street.

Are you sure you are not just drunk?: 4:13 p.m. — Man was having an allergic reaction to alcohol in the 800 block of South Cherokee Lane.

Get off my lawn: 5:26 p.m. — A group of kids were playing in the street and the caller's yard in the 700 block of James Street.

DUI driver: 5:53 p.m. — There was a possible DUI driver in a Jeep Cherokee in the 900 block of North Lower Sacramento Road.

Gunfire: 9:46 p.m. — Seven shots were heard in the 100 block of North Hutchins Street.

Gunfire again: 10:48 p.m. — One shot was heard in the 900 block of Church Street.

Wednesday

Smell of smoke: 1:44 a.m. — There was the smell of smoke in the 1000 block of Pinot Noir, but no smoke or flames were seen.

Is that your bike?: 7:40 a.m. — Check for two people towing a kids bike behind them in the 1200 block of West Vine Street.
