Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, the Lodi Police Department received 169 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Yelling women: 8:16 a.m. — A woman in a pink floral top was heard yelling and talking to herself on the 100 block of North Sacramento Street.
Paint stripper: Noon — Someone was seen working on their vehicle and stripping paint into the gutter on the 200 block of Layland Drive.
Passed out: 1:58 p.m. — A person in a black hoodie was seen passed out possibly due to alcohol on the 1200 block of West Lockeford Street.
Large group: 2:25 p.m. — A group of approximately 15 teens was seen gathering and they were possibly going to fight on the 1900 block of West Lockeford Street.
Stolen plate: 4:20 p.m. — A rear license plate was stolen on the 300 block of East Locust Street.
Fire exit bandit: 4:27 p.m. — A man was seen going out the fire exit while carrying a computer on the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Suspicious group: 5:17 p.m. — Two men and two women were seen going door to door asking for money to build a safe house on the 1100 block of Port Chelsea Circle.
Hot wheels: 8:32 p.m. — A shopping cart was discovered on fire on the 2500 block of West Lodi Avenue.
Garbage can: 8:47 p.m. — Three people in skeleton costumes were seen looking through garbage cans on the 1100 block of Waterford Way.
Gun shots: 9:34 p.m. — Four gunshots and screams were heard on the 1700 block of West Cherokee Lane.
