In the 24 hours after 9 a.m. Friday, the Lodi Police Department handled 205 calls for police and fire service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers:


Residential Burglary

1:41 p.m. - Someone burglarized a home in the 500 block of South Sacramento Street.

Gang Fight

2:30 p.m. - Gang members were fighting on Pine Street east of Ham Lane.

Endangered Youths

3:33 p.m. - Four juveniles were on the train tracks in the 600 block of West Lockeford Street.

Rooftop Hoodlums

3:46 p.m. - Juveniles were atop a Westwood Avenue roof, throwing objects at passing cars.


4:13 p.m. - Two men, ages 28 and 30, were arrested for drug violations in the 300 block of Flora Street.

Not so indecent

4:39 p.m. - A man in a brown jacket was exposing himself near Elm Street and the railroad tracks. He was clothed when an officer arrived.

Home Burglarized

5:56 p.m. - Someone broke into a home in the 100 block of Mulberry Circle.

Stolen Car

8:18 p.m. - Someone stole a white two-door 1995 Honda Civic within the previous two hours at Moo Moos, 113 N. School St.

Drunken Juvenile

8:47 p.m. - A drunken girl headed west from Cold Stone, 115 W. Elm St.

Fake Money

9:16 p.m. - Three people passed a counterfeit $100 bill at McDonald's, 841 E. Kettleman Lane.

Hockey Players

10:41 p.m. - Suspicious banging, like the sound of breaking wood, was heard near Century Boulevard and Starling Way. It turned out that juveniles were playing hockey, but a resident still wanted police to check out the scene.


Fight, with a broken window

2:01 a.m. - Two men got into a fight, and in the process one of them broke a window at Dennys Restaurant, 701 E. Kettleman Lane.

Trespasser loses a wallet

7:29 a.m. - People regularly trespass during the evening in the 500 block of East Locust Street, and this time someone left a wallet behind.
