Since 8 a.m. Wednesday, the Lodi Police Department received 127 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Ready to pop: 9:24 a.m. — A large, "very pregnant" dog "just wandered" into a location on the 1900 block of South Church Street.
Squatters?: 10:15 a.m. — A subject was inside an apartment that was supposed to be vacant on the 900 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Gas leak: 11:25 a.m. — A caller reported a strong odor of natural gas on the 300 block of West Century Boulevard. The caller was instructed to leave the residence.
Not smart: 3:00 p.m. — Two males were on the overpass on the 700 block of East Lodi Avenue throwing items at cars on the freeway.
Blitzed buckaroo: 3:12 p.m. — A white, bearded male wearing a cowboy hat was passed out in a shopping cart in the menswear department of a store on the 500 block of South Cherokee Lane.
Time for a tow: 4:31 p.m. — A charcoal sport utility vehicle was parked in front of a fire hydrant on the 2200 block of Olson Drive.
Get out!: 6:35 p.m. — A caller on the 2600 block of Ponderosa Drive was requesting information on how to go about legally evicting their 18-year-old son.
Beavis and Butthead?: 8:58 p.m. — Juveniles broke a television in the roadway on the 900 block of Rutledge Drive. The television was left behind and was causing a hazard in the street.
Student driver: 4:09 a.m. — Police received a call from the California Highway Patrol regarding a Spanish-speaking female who said a juvenile was driving a bus on the 400 block of Harold Street.
