Since 8 a.m. Friday, the Lodi Police Department received 387 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


Roll your windows down for Fido: 12:32 p.m. — A dog was sitting in a white truck with the windows rolled up in the 2300 block of W. Kettleman Lane.

Dressing up for court: 2:45 p.m. — A man was in Lodi court wearing a shirt with a marijuana leaf on it in the 200 block of W. Elm Street.

Can of keys: 5:08 p.m. — A caller found a can full of keys on his lawn two weeks ago and just remembered to call in the 800 block of Lloyd Street.

Vehicle blaze: 7:16 p.m. — There was a vehicle on fire in the northbound lanes of the 800 block of S. Cherokee Lane.

The first rule of stealing toiletries is...: 9:08 p.m. — A man in a shirt that said "Fight Club" stole a Nintendo DS and some toiletries in the 500 block of S. Cherokee Lane.

A late Fourth celebration: 9:20 p.m. — There was a large group was setting off fireworks in the 1400 block of Mariposa Way.

DUI: 9:48 p.m. — A drunk man in a Buick crashed into the center median and then stopped in a parking lot in the 500 block of W. Kettleman Lane.


Trash wars: 5:59 a.m. — A man in the 2300 block of Turner Road said a woman keeps driving on his property and stealing from his trash can.

No cash for you: 2:10 p.m. — A man with a white beard became irate after someone in the 200 block of S. School Street told him "no cash money for you."

Bike wreck: 4:01 p.m. — There was a man laying on the ground with a bike near him in the 600 block of E Kettleman Lane.

Water fight: 4:16 p.m. — Five teens were throwing water balloons at passing vehicles in the 500 block of E. Pine Street.

Rocking out: 6:58 p.m. — Someone was playing their drums too loud in the 1500 block of Barkley Lane.

Preparing for a barbecue: 8:44 p.m. — Someone stole two bottles of alcohol and meat from a store in the 500 block of W. Lodi Avenue.

Tool theft: 10:36 p.m. — A large amount of tools were stolen from a garage in the 300 block of Mission Street.


Parking lot drinking: 12:59 a.m. — Several drunk juveniles were kicked out of a dining room and then were drinking in the parking lot in the 2600 block of W. Kettleman Lane.

Robbery: 3:37 a.m. A man was robbed at gunpoint by a male in all black clothing in the 400 block of S. Central Avenue. They took cell phone and keys.

Birthday suit nap: 9 a.m. — A caller requested a check for a "naked guy" out front laying on the sidewalk in the 0 block of Main Street.

Go cart racing: 9:53 p.m. — People were making too much noise racing their go carts up and down the alleyway in the 200 block of S. Pleasant Avenue.

Imbibing at a church: 8:54 p.m. — Four juveniles were smoking and drinking behind a marquee sign of a church in the 200 block of N. Mills Avenue.


Kitchen intruder: 12:33 a.m. — Someone heard a person try to open the kitchen window in the 900 block of S. Garfield Street.

Sleeping trespassers: 6:08 a.m. — Four juveniles were sleeping on the roof of a school and left their bikes behind in the 1800 block of W. Elm Street.
