Between the hours of 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday the Lodi Police Department received 158 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.

Monday

Sleeper: 8:49 a.m. — A person was found sleeping inside a closet on the 900 block of South Garfield Street.

Break-in: 12:32 p.m. — Someone reported seeing a person break into a truck on the 2600 block of Reynolds Ranch Parkway.

Hand gun: 1:55 p.m. — An unknown person dropped off a handgun in a paper bag at the Salvation Army trailer on the 300 block of North Sacramento Street.

Troubled teens: 4:58 p.m. — Two teens were seen throwing objects at cars in the eastbound lanes on the 100 block of East Kettleman Lane.

Alleyway: 5:51 p.m. — Fifteen "gang-type" people were in an alley harassing passerbys on the 900 block of Wellswood Avenue.

Dumpster: 8:38 p.m. — A transient was found inside a Dumpster on the 0 block of West Pine Street.

Tuesday

Shopping cart: 6:25 a.m. — A man was seen pushing a shopping cart in the middle of the roadway near the cemetery on the 14900 block of North Beckman Road.
