Between the hours of 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday the Lodi Police Department received 173 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.


Theft: 11:19 a.m. — A woman stole $70 worth of merchandise from a business on the 1400 block of South Stockton Street.

Decorations: 11:52 a.m. — Someone stole Christmas decorations on the 1500 block of Barkley Lane.

Transients: 12:39 p.m. — A group of transients were loitering in the back of a Laundromat on the 200 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Screaming: 12:56 p.m. — A woman was seen screaming at people and passing vehicles on the 1500 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Fight: 2:51 p.m. — Teens were seen fighting on the basketball courts on the 800 block of South Hutchins Street.

Stolen bike: 8:04 p.m. — A bike was stolen on the 200 block of West Locust Street.

Yelling: 10:45 p.m. — A woman was heard yelling for help on the 300 block of Acacia Street.


Trunk: 1:34 a.m. — A woman reported seeing someone go through the trunk of her car on the 1700 block of Colombard Circle.
