Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday the Lodi Police Department received 155 calls for service below is a sample of those calls.


Intoxicated: 9:33 a.m. — A possibly intoxicated person was on the 500 block of East Pine Street and North Cherokee Lane.

Snatched bike: 11:13 a.m. — A bike was stolen by a Hispanic man wearing a beanie. The bike was stolen from a parked gray vehicle on the 200 block of South Central Avenue near East Lodi Avenue.

Purse removed: 12:33 p.m. — A purse was stolen from a vehicle on the 0 block of North Guild Avenue.

Who let the dog out?: 1:29 p.m. — A brown pitbull was off its leash on the 100 block of South Hutchins Street.

Town crier: 4:02 p.m. — An intoxicated person was causing a disturbance in front of a bar on the 0 block of South Main Street.

Where are your parents?: 5:01 p.m. — Unsupervised children were being loud and causing a disturbance on the 1500 block of Mariposa Way.

Gotta have my 501s: 5:15 p.m. — Two pairs of Levi 501 jeans were stolen by a Hispanic male in a dark shirt and blue jeans on the 2400 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Can you hear me now?!: 6:22 p.m. — An intoxicated man in shorts was drinking and yelling on the 600 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Is this my house?: 8:33 p.m. — A male was at the caller's door trying to enter on the 300 block of West Century Boulevard.

Fire in a can!: 9:16 p.m. — A trash can was burning near the trees by a horseshoe pit on the 600 block of North Pleasant Avenue.


Rummage sale!: 5:11 a.m. — A woman was seen going through the trash on the 0 block of Knobcone Lane and Douglas Fir Drive.

Secret meeting: 5:24 a.m. — Two males wearing dark hoodies were seen near the main entrance on the 2400 block of West Lodi Avenue and South Lower Sacramento Road.
