Between the hours of 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 644 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


8:11 a.m. — A man carrying a sleeping bag was yelling and cussing on the 0 block of South Sacramento Street.

9:28 a.m. — A man jumped over someone’s fence on the 800 block of Woodrow Street.

2:54 p.m. — A woman going from door to door didn’t seem right on the 200 block of Almond Drive.

6:51 p.m. — A man with a knife was making threats to another man on the 200 block of Hilborn Street.


1:49 a.m. — The family member of a patient was upset about the wait on the 900 block of South Fairmont Avenue. The caller said the family member began taking pictures of the doctors and other patients and was threatening the doctor.

9:09 a.m. — Someone couldn’t leave his home because his girlfriend was standing behind his car on the 2000 block of South Stockton Street.

10:18 a.m. — Someone stole meat on the 300 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.

3:34 p.m. — A man was hanging on a light pole on the 300 block of Mission Street.


6:42 p.m. — Someone saw a 3-year-old in a diaper crossing the street alone on the 200 block of Layland Drive.


3:41 p.m. — Someone was breaking into homes and changing the locks on the 2400 block of Montebello Way.
