Since 8 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department received 159 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Bleeding in a car: 10:11 a.m. — A man was bleeding from the arm with large amounts of blood in the vehicle in the 500 block of West Lodi Avenue.
Lost boy: 11:31 a.m. — There was a 5- or 6-year-old wandering around by himself in front of a store in the 600 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Mail thefts: 1:17 p.m. — Multiple mailboxes were broken into the in the 1900 block of East Century Place.
Get on the road: 1:18 p.m. — A male was riding a motorbike on the sidewalks in the 500 block of Schaffer Drive.
I often carry around empty wallets: 2:05 p.m. — A male age 20 was in the stairway of the parking garage acting suspicious. He left behind a set of car keys, a Post Office key and an empty wallet.
Dedicated stalkers: 3:41 p.m. — A man was in the lobby and said people were following him around Lodi and they had stalked him all the way to Idaho and back.
Bye phone: 4:26 p.m. — An attorney left his iPhone on the top of his car and drove away when he was in the 100 block of West Elm Street.
Dangerous skateboarding: 5:32 p.m. — Two juveniles were skateboarding and they ran in front of the caller and hit the vehicle, leaving a dent, in the 900 block of South Ham Lane.
Robbery: 10:01 p.m. — Four males robbed a man while he was jogging and took his shoes and wallet, but dropped all the items in the 200 block of Daisy Avenue.
Passed out: 5:30 a.m. — A woman was passed out at the main entrance of a building in the 1300 block of West Turner Road.
