Between the hours of 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday the Lodi Police Department received 150 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.
Who cut it?: 9:13 a.m. — An unknown person cut the lock off a shed door on the 600 block of East Lockeford Street.
Got any change?: 1:19 p.m. — A female panhandler was harassing a customer on the 300 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.
Bag removal: 1:30 p.m. — A purse was stolen from the 0 block of West Elm Street.
Free for all: 1:37 p.m. — Two homeless men with bicycles and trailers were going through the recycling on the 2200 block of Cabrillo Circle.
Cutting in: 2:04 p.m. — Manager reported several transients are loitering in the back of the business. They apparently cut the fence to enter the property on the 100 block of North Cherokee Lane.
I can throw farther!: 2:07 p.m. — Kids were reported to be throwing rocks on the 400 block of North Mills Avenue and Yosemite Drive.
Checking your mail: 2:36 p.m. — A suspicious woman was seen going through the mail and leaving on the 0 block of North Allen Drive.
Laundry day: 3:15 p.m. — A woman in green shirt and blue jeans took two jugs of laundry detergent from the 600 block of South Cherokee Lane.
Packing clean underwear: 4:23 p.m. — A woman in a black overcoat stole boxers and socks from a store on the 500 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Party time!: 7:40 a.m. — A transient male was blocking the door to a business while drinking and throwing trash in front of the door on the 400 block of South Cherokee Lane.
Collection day: 7:42 a.m. — Male with a shopping cart was going through the recyclables on the 800 block of South Lee Avenue.
