Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 440 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.
Funny-talking guy: 3:02 p.m. — A male in the 100 block of North Church Street was making strange comments.
Male beaten up: 4:42 p.m. — Someone was jumped and beaten up by gang members in the 2400 block of Meadow Drive.
Suspicious male: 7:56 p.m. — A male was shining a high-powered spotlight into homes and cars in the 2100 block of Newbury Circle. He also went into some backyards.
Fight: 8:31 p.m. — Four males were fighting one male near the tennis courts in the 800 block of South Hutchins Street.
Political signs: 11:09 p.m. — Four juveniles in the 1500 block of Lakeshore Drive were taken political signs off lawns in the neighborhood. They were in the area for an hour.
Yelling on the porch: 8:40 a.m. — A male was yelling while sitting on a porch in the 300 block of East Elm Street.
Egging a house: 10:46 a.m. — A house was egged in the 100 block of South Avena Avenue.
Are they human? 1:55 p.m. — Someone found some bones in a backyard in the 200 block of South Crescent Avenue and wanted confirmation that they’re not human bones.
Possible gang activity: 5:22 p.m. — About five gang members attacked a male with rocks in the 300 block of East Elm Street.
Pants down: 10:02 p.m. — A male was laying in the street with his pants down in the 1400 block of Park Street.
Suspicious man: 11:04 p.m. — A man was walking around a parking lot in the 600 block of West Kettleman Lane with a screwdriver while looking into vehicles.
Beer bottles: 11:13 p.m. — A bunch of bottles were placed under a man’s tires in the 100 block of North School Street.
