Between the hours of 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, The Lodi Police Department received 153 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


9:46 a.m. — Someone claimed a man was cussing profusely, yelling at customers and threatening anyone who came near him at a gas station in the 200 block of West Lockeford Street.

11:36 a.m. — Someone found her stolen bike being sold on Craig’s List in the 200 block of West Elm Street.

2:09 p.m. — A juvenile was jumping off a bridge into a canal that runs between Raley’s and a business complex in the 300 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.

2:24 p.m. — A group of juveniles were vandalizing a bench with a pocket knife in the Lodi Lake nature area in the 1100 block of West Turner Road.

7:38 p.m. — Someone wanted to complain about a large amount of blood left next to a vehicle in the 400 block of North Church Street.


2:38 a.m. — Someone was shining a flashlight into homes in the 2700 block of Madrone Drive.

7:19 a.m. — Someone was harassing customers and refusing to leave a building in the 600 block of South Cherokee Lane.
