Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday the Lodi Police Department received 162 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.
Not your house: 8:25 a.m. — A caller didn't like her mother letting homeless types live at the mother's house on the 100 block of Vine Street. The mother said it was none of her child's business.
Those aren't mine: 9:08 a.m. — A baggie and syringes were found on the 2400 block of Turner Road.
Is it like a clothing swap?: 9:36 a.m. — A group of homeless-looking people with bedding items were standing on the east side of a building on the 600 block of Victor Road.
They are anti-trash: 12:44 p.m. — Girls were walking on the 800 block of Lee Street and knocking over trash cans.
Detective work: 2:03 p.m. — A caller said there was drug activity at a warehouse on the 100 block of Commerce Street. There was a strong smell of marijuana and the subjects are only present at nighttime.
Impromptu fountain: 2:43 p.m. — A fire hydrant was spraying water on the 200 block of Cherokee Lane.
Go home, you're drunk: 6:46 p.m. — Two men were lying in a parking lot and trying to get into a car on the 100 block of Lodi Avenue.
Porch party: 7:57 p.m. — A caller said someone was on his porch and possibly drinking on the 600 block of Lockeford.
