In the 24 hours after 9 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department handled 208 calls for service. The following is a sample of police and fire calls received by dispatchers:

Monday

Attempted robbery: 9:07 a.m. — A caller found bolt cutters, cut wires and hand and foot prints at his business in the 400 block of East Kettleman Lane. Last week the lock to a gate of the business was cut and the security camera was found on the ground.

Suspicious SUV: 10:05 a.m. — An unattended blue Trailblazer with two black suitcases in the front seat aroused suspicion in the 2500 block of South Hutchins Street.

Yelling transient: 10:54 a.m. — There was a transient disturbing people when he was yelling at himself while heading northbound on the railroad tracks in the 1000 block of Awani Drive.

Squatter: 11:10 a.m. — Tenants are refusing to leave after an eviction notice was served in June 2010. They were living in the landlord's duplex with no electricity.

Drinking in car at Target: 12:11 p.m. — A possible DUI driver was in a burgundy Acura and heading eastbound on the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane. The caller saw four people in the car drinking in the Target parking lot.

Son stealing parent's car: 12:21 p.m. — A mom in the 1500 block of Zinfandel Drive called police because her son was stealing her car.

Missing 4-year-old: 12:47 p.m. — An employee at Chevron in the 500 block of East Kettleman Lane called police when her 4-year-old son did not report to school after staying with her father.

Marijuana plants visible: 1:18 p.m. — Marijuana plants are visible from the alleyway in the backyard of a house in the 500 block of Daisy Avenue.

Suspicious truck driver: 2:05 p.m. — A big rig was parked in a parking lot near a school in the 1100 block of West Century Place. The caller believes the driver, who is in his 60s, looks suspicious.

Robbery: 2:26 pm. — A woman in the 500 block of South School Street came home to find her home ransacked and destroyed.

Biker hit by car: 3:14 p.m. — While riding a bike, a caller was hit by a car in the 1400 block of South Ham Lane.

Toddler stuck in baby swing: 3:41 p.m. — A three-year-old girl was stuck in a baby swing and unable to get out in the 1000 block of South Stockton Street.

Drug dealing: 4:23 p.m. — A caller was in a verbal argument with a three people who were selling drugs out of a white Mitsubishi in the 1300 block of South Lee Avenue.

Smoking drugs: 6:47 p.m. — A group of juveniles were smoking drugs in the park in the 300 block of North Washington Street.

Arguing in the street: 7:33 p.m. — There was a verbal argument between two males in the street in the 2300 block of Lanyard Way.

Counterfeit $20: 8:13 p.m. — Staff at the Bubbles and Bubbles Laundry received a fake $20 bill in the 0 block of North Stockton Street.

Disturbing neighbors: 10:13 p.m. — People were being too loud in the 500 block of East Vine Street after the caller told them to quiet down.

Tuesday

A cat trapper: 1:16 a.m. — A caller in the 200 block of Kenway Court has a neighbor's cat trapped in a cage in the backyard. The caller believes there will be a fight when the neighbor asks for his cat back.

Lost mom in Baja: 4:48 a.m. — A caller in the 500 block of East Lodi Avenue wants to make a report after not hearing from his mother who recently in traveled to Baja.

Loud noise at school: 8:05 a.m. — Threre was a loud noise from St. Anne's School in the 200 block of West Walnut Street.
