Between the hours of 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday the Lodi Police Department recieved 131 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.

Tuesday

Traveling?: 10:12 a.m. — A suitcase was left in front of a business on the 100 block of South School Street.

Hide and seek: 10:59 a.m. — A transient was seen hiding in the back part of the nature area of Lodi Lake on the 1100 block of West Turner Lane.

Liquid transport: 2:38 p.m. — The caller reported an intoxicated person who may be driving at a business on the 100 block of Hansen Drive.

Not a kennel: 3:05 p.m. — A dog was locked in a light-colored Honda in the parking lot on the 2400 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Free car wash!: 5:59 p.m. — A juvenile was squirting water at passing cars on the 200 block of Layland Drive.

Chillin': 6:16 p.m. — Five males were sitting on the hood of a vehicle with multiple bicycles that the caller thought might be stolen on the 100 block of South Rose Street.

Off-roading: 6:17 p.m. — Juveniles with a bike ramp kept riding on the caller's lawn on the 600 block of North School Street.

Pop rocks: 6:50 p.m.— Five juveniles threw rocks at the caller's vehicle on the 800 block of South Central Avenue.

Hear me roar!: 11:24 p.m. — A unknown man was in the middle of the street yelling on the 300 block of Olive Court.

Wednesday

Open sesame: 1:43 a.m.— A subject was trying to open doors and garages on the 1900 block of South Church Street.

Party time!: 1:53 a.m. — A group of subjects were being loud and drinking behind a business on the 1000 block of Lodi Avenue.

They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl.
