Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, The Lodi Police Department received 149 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


8:10 a.m. — Someone burglarized a vehicle on the 1300 block of South Beckman Road.

8:21 a.m. — A 2-or 3-year-old was walking around with no parents on the 1900 block of Holly Drive.

11:06 a.m. — A transient was sleeping behind a business and when he wasn’t sleeping he was terrorizing people on the 400 block of West Kettleman Lane.

11:17 a.m. — A woman took recyclables from someone’s backyard on the 500 block of West Tokay Street.

12:59 p.m. — A gardener was drinking while mowing lawns on the 2300 block of Cabrillo Circle.

2:12 p.m. — A car was stolen on the 900 block of York Street,

2:21 p.m. — Two juveniles were arrested for petty theft on the 600 block of West Kettleman Lane.

3:42 p.m. — A woman was yelling obscenities on the 400 block of South Cherokee Lane.

5:16 p.m. — A stalled vehicle was causing a traffic hazard on the 100 block of East Lockeford Street.


1:27 a.m. — Seven people were in the middle of the street on the 800 block of School Street.

4:21 a.m. — A man was going through Dumpsters on the 1300 block of South Stockton Street.
