Between the hours of 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, The Lodi Police Department received 176 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


Suspicious: 8:26 a.m. — A male was screaming about something on the 0 block of West Lockeford Street.

Suspicious: 10:24 a.m. — A transient was inside a store refusing to leave and left a McDonalds bag in the store, which an employee is afraid to open on the 100 block of West Walnut Street.

Special service: 10:55 a.m. — A female was locked out of her car, which was running on the 2500 block of West Lodi Avenue.

Disturbance: 2:36 p.m. — A man with a knife was threatening someone on the 300 block of Neplus Court.

Suspicious: 2:47 p.m. — A man in Indian attire took plates off a car on the 100 block of South School Street.

Disturbance: 5:48 p.m. — An out-of-control female was hitting someone with a fire extinguisher on the 400 block of Almond Drive.


Special service: 12:58 a.m. — There was a lot of glass in the road on the 800 block of West Lodi Avenue.

Suspicious: 3:57 a.m. — A man was causing dogs to bark on the 200 block of South Hutchins Street.
