Between the hours of 8 a.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 150 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


Bad sales skills: 9:23 a.m. — People were yelling curse words at a garage sale in the 200 block of South Lee Avenue.

Shut that off: 11:36 a.m. — A car alarm was going off for more than an hour in the 300 block of South Fairmont Avenue.

Fight club: 1:42 p.m. — Two males were fighting and one was bleeding from the head in the 800 block of East Kettleman Lane.

Is there cotton candy?: 4:48 p.m. — A caller said it sounds like there is a carnival in the alley in the 500 block of Harold Street.

Who let the dogs out?: 6:25 p.m. — Three loose pitbulls were chasing people in the 400 block of Sonora Avenue.

DUI: 9:22 p.m. — There was a possible DUI as a Honda Accord swerved back and forth in a lane in the 500 block of East Harney Lane.

Holy smokes: 10:43 p.m. — A caller said someone threw a firework into her vehicle and there was a hole in the glove compartment and carpet in the 700 block of South Garfield Street.

Multi-tasking: 11:35 p.m. — A drunk teen was holding a case of beer while urinating in the 2900 block of West Turner Road.


Garage caper: 1:13 a.m. — Eight people were trying to break into a garage in an alleyway near the 300 block of East Elm Street.

Hit light pole: 3:14 a.m. — A car crashed into a light pole and then kept on driving in the 200 block of North Ham Lane.

Probably a Tigers fan?: 11:29 a.m. — A man at a hotel in the 600 block of North Cherokee Lane threw a TV on the floor, was yelling at the manager and started flinging trash outside.

Keep your clothes on: 2:24 p.m. — A man in a black Escalade was taking off his clothes and arguing with someone in a drive-thru line in the 200 block of West Lodi Avenue.

A premature Giants reveler?: 2:40 p.m. — There was a man wearing no shirt, yelling and “going crazy” in the grape vineyards across from the Hampton Inn and Starbucks in the 4800 block of East Kettleman Lane.

Seriously, put some clothes on: 4:31 p.m. — There was a naked man in a caller’s backyard in the 2300 block of South Mills Avenue.

Gun shots: 8:54 p.m. — Several people reported gun shots or a loud explosion near the 1300 block of Arundel Court.
