Between the hours of 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, The Lodi Police Department received 172 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


Suspicious: 8:28 a.m. — A man was riding a bike and looking into vehicles on the 2200 block of Fairchild Drive.

Theft: 9:21 a.m. — Someone believes that cleaning people stole a bracelet on the 2300 block of Cochran Road.

Disturbance: 12:03 p.m. — Two gang members who are supposed to stay away from each other as part of probation, were gathering on the 300 block of Cypress Street.

Suspicious: 3:04 p.m. — Four juveniles with two long shotguns and scopes on the rifles were on the 2400 block of West Elm Street.

Theft: 3:24 p.m. — A bicycle was stolen from Lawrence Park on the 200 block of West Elm Street.

9:18 p.m. — Either gunshots or fireworks were heard on the 500 block of South Stockton Street.


7:55 a.m. — A homeless man was drinking alcohol, throwing stuff and yelling at people on the 600 block of East Victor Road.
