Between the hours of 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department received 162 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.


Naptime: 8:23 a.m. — A man was sleeping in an alleyway on the 200 block of Locust Street.

Theft: 1:39 p.m. — A catalytic converter was stolen from the 0 block of Oak Street.

How rude: 2:30 p.m. — A group of 20 males were gathered on the 0 block of Pacific Avenue, and yelled obscenities at a woman who said she was calling the police.

How did you get up there?: 4:15 p.m. — Two subjects with bikes were on the roof of the Geweke building on the 1000 block of Cherokee Lane.

Boarding blockers: 5:18 p.m. — A group of juveniles with skateboards were blocking the entrance to a store on the 1300 block of Lockeford Street.

Peeking: 5:57 p.m. — A man was looking into a bedroom window on the 200 block of Daisy Avenue.

My plastics!: 10:10 p.m. — Bags of recycling were taken from a balcony on the 1900 block of Scarborough Drive.


Stop hitting my door: 12:03 a.m. — A man found a subject beating on his garage door and chased him to the 2400 block of Elm Street.

Street bowling: 5:36 a.m. — A small blue car was knocking down trash cans on the 1000 Tokay Street.
