Between the hours of 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, the Lodi Police Department received 161 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.
Suspicious tattoo man: 8:42 a.m. — A suspicious looking, heavily tattooed man was seen sitting on a cement pillar on the 1900 block of West Century Boulevard.
Where’s that coming from?: 9:27 a.m. — Someone reported hearing noises coming from a backyard which connects to a parking lot on the 300 block of Daisy Avenue. The resident was not home and nobody should have been there.
When you’ve got to go, you’ve got to go: 9:50 a.m. — A man in a black Corvette was seen urinating in a parking lot on the 1300 block of Lower Sacramento Road.
Hide your kids, hide your wife: 12:38 p.m. — A man attempted to break into a room by climbing through a window on the 0 block of West Oak Street.
Drinks to go: 2:47p.m. —Two men were seen drinking in a van outside of a house on the 700 block of West Elm Street.
Armed and dangerous: 5:06 p.m. — A man was seen chasing juveniles with a pocket knife on the 300 block of East Elm Street.
Hit and run: 7:03 p.m. — Three males were seen knocking over a sign on the 1200 block of West Lockeford Street.
Loud mouth: 7:42 a.m. — A woman was heard yelling at the top of her lungs at on the 300 block of West Lockeford Street.
