Since 8 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department received 142 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Shoplifting: 9:32 a.m. — Jewelry was reported stolen on the 200 block of West Lockeford Street. The caller had no information on the suspect.
Panic attack: 10:27 a.m. — An employee of a business on the 2200 block of West Kettleman Lane was having a panic attack.
Strollin’ along looking for change: 12:53 p.m. — A white male with brown pants and a cane was soliciting money in a drive-thru on the 100 block of West Walnut Street.
Vandalism: 3:06 p.m. — Six to seven Hispanic juveniles were writing on fences with markers on the 900 block of Holly Drive.
Sounds safe: 7:30 p.m. — Officers were called to the 0 block of West Elm Street to look for juveniles throwing a football over passing cars.
Reckless driver: 7:53 p.m. — A burgundy car was driving erratically up and down the 400 block of East Pine Street.
The bush must owe him money: 8:31 p.m. — A white male with a brown jacket and blue jeans was hitting rose bushes with his cane on the 700 block of South Cherokee Lane.
Suspicious behavior: 7:55 a.m. — Multiple calls were received for a reckless driver on the 4400 block of West Peltier Road.
