Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, The Lodi Police Department received 431 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
8:37 a.m. — A man was letting a small child drive a truck in the 1500 block of Iris Drive and Atherton Drive.
9:17 a.m. — Someone reported that a Hispanic woman was trying to remove a sprinkler from the yard in the 400 block of East Pine Street.
10:29 a.m. — A dog was locked inside a car in the 900 block of South Fairmont Avenue.
11:58 a.m. — Three males were on a corner throwing up gang signs and acting stupid in the 1300 block of South Mills Avenue and Tienda Drive.
1:07 p.m. — A young man was selling Omaha Steaks from his car in the 600 block of Roper Avenue.
4:27 p.m. — Leaves were on fire in the 1600 block of West Tokay Street.
4:32 p.m. — Juveniles were on the Sunset Theater roof in the 1000 block of West Lodi Avenue and South Fairmont Avenue.
4:49 p.m. — A group of teens were seen going into a bathroom with cans of paint in the 200 block of East Locus Street.
3:08 a.m. — There was a verbal argument between a customer and security guard in the 1300 block of South Beckman Road.
6:12 a.m. — A man was bleeding from his forehead in the 0 block of East Lockeford Street.
3:46 p.m. — A man was pushing a shopping cart and threatening to kill people in the 500 block of East Lodi Avenue.
8:32 p.m. — Someone found a gun in her cabinet and wants the police to come get it in the 200 block of East Vine Street.
1:37 p.m. — A black female took merchandise and ran in the 300 block of West Kettleman Lane.
2:25 p.m. — A truck was doing doughnuts in the 2100 block of West Kettleman Lane.
5:53 p.m. — Someone rang a doorbell and left something on the front porch that smelled like a fart in the 2000 block of Bluejay Way.
8:44 p.m. — A man and woman were using a magnetic key to open displays in the electronics department in the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane.
10:17 p.m. — Someone found a gun in a mailbox in a mailbox in the 300 block of Hilborn Street.
5:39 a.m. — Homeless people were sleeping near a gate in the 400 block of South Pleasant Street.
