Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 351 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Vehicle fire: 1:45 p.m. — Smoke was coming from a vehicle on the 1700 block of West Vine Street.
Suspicious: 4:42 p.m. — A juvenile with a BB gun was walking on the 800 block of South Washington Street.
Suspicious: 7:44 p.m. — A store clerk overcharged a customer $2 on the 0 block of East Lockeford Street.
Disturbance: 11 a.m. — Someone heard moaning and groaning from a room for the last two days on the 0 block of South Main Street.
Disturbance: 10:14 p.m. — Someone had loud music playing and a fire in a fire pit on the 300 block of Louie Avenue.
Animal call: 9:52 a.m. — A stray pit bull killed someone’s cat on the 1600 block of West Elm Street.
Complaint: 7:03 p.m. — Juveniles were throwing water balloons at passing vehicles on the 600 block of West Lodi Avenue.
Vandalism: 12:10 a.m. — Someone slashed the tires on a caller’s vehicle on the 1200 block of South School Street.
Vandalism: 7:28 a.m. — A homeless man was throwing rocks off an overpass at cars on the 700 block of East Lodi Avenue.
