Between the hours of 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, the Lodi Police Department received 289 calls for service.


Morning smoke: 9:41 a.m. — Juveniles were smoking marijuana in the park on the corner of the 800 block of Hutchins Street.

Misplaced money: 12:49 p.m. — A lost wallet was reported from the 1800 block of South Cherokee Lane.

Getting pushy: 2:06 p.m. — A man pushed an elderly female in an alley off of the 300 block of Flora Street. Another man restrained the subject until police could arrive.

Street flames: 4:21 p.m. — A grass fire was seen on the median divider at the intersection of Mills Avenue and Kettleman Lane.

Water you doing?: 6:45 p.m. — Juveniles were riding bikes and creating a traffic hazard by knocking down city barricades for a water meter project on the 200 block of Forrest Avenue.

Art class: 10:47 p.m. — Five or six juveniles spray painted the side of a home on the 200 block of West Century Boulevard.


Crafts time: 1:11 a.m. — Graffiti was found on the third floor wall near the elevator of the parking garage on the 0 block of North Sacramento Street.

Hush, you: 1:31 a.m. — Subjects were being loud in the back of a parking lot at the rear of a school near the 2300 block of Giannoni Way.

Move it: 9:35 a.m. — A big rig was blocking the view for vehicles leaving a lot on the 800 block of North Cluff Avenue.

Get out: 9:46 a.m. — A man was harassing customer, loitering and refusing to leave a business on the 600 block of Victor Road.

Is this my house?: 5:17 p.m A man tried to walk into a house on the 400 block of East Elm St. and seemed confused before continuing to Hale Park.

Drugs: 11:44 p.m. — A man was using drugs in the bathroom of a business on the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane.


Campout: 7:09 a.m. — Transients were camping by the retention pond behind Raley's on the 2600 block of West Lodi Avenue.
