Between the hours of 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, The Lodi Police Department received 147 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Gross find: 9:40 a.m. — While walking a dog, someone noticed a bag full of guts and bones in a driveway on the 1500 block of South Stockton Street.
Hit-and-run: 11:05 a.m. — A hit-and-run occurred on the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Disturbance: 1:14 p.m. — Some reported hearing someone yell "You are dead now!" on the 200 block of East Locust Street.
Bullies: 1:21 p.m. — Neighborhood kids were harassing citizens on the 1800 block of Burgundy Drive.
Trash dam: 1:37 p.m. — A large amount of trash was blocking the roadway on the 900 block of North Beckman Road.
Hot wheels: 4:13 p.m. — Two cars were racing and almost running other drivers off the road on the 1300 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.
Target practice: 5:31 p.m. — Two male juveniles were shooting at railroad boxes with paintball guns on the 900 block of North Loma Drive and West Turner Road.
Curious: 11:47 p.m. — Juveniles were in a parking lot with a baseball bat on the 2400 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Buried treasure: 1:46 a.m. — A man was going through garbage cans on the 1900 block of Royal Crest Drive and South Mills Avenue.
