Since 8 a.m. Saturday the Lodi Police Department received 302 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.


Loiterer: 10:15 a.m. — A man carrying an AT&T box was seen loitering in the parking lot on the on the 2400 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Grab and go: 10:16 a.m. — A man on a bike rode by and grabbed someone's wallet out of their hand on the 100 block of North Sacramento Street.

Stolen phone: 12:00 p.m. — A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1900 block of Santa Ynez Drive.

Gnome: 12:21 p.m. — Someone believes they have located their missing, hand-painted gnome in a yard on the 500 block of Rutledge Drive.

Rail walker: 4:55 p.m. — A man dressed in white was seen walking on top of the railing while carrying a can in his hand on the 0 block of East Kettleman Lane.

Census: 6:45 p.m. — A man claiming to be with the census came to door asking about a neighbor on the 1500 block of Edgewood Drive.

Rocker throwers: 8:23 p.m. — A group of 10 juveniles on bikes were trying to throw rocks at a man on the 200 block of East Lodi Avenue.

Pepper spray: 8:41 p.m. — Someone was pepper sprayed on the 1400 block of East Victor Road.

Threat: 11:03 p.m. — A man reportedly threatened to kill a woman with a knife on the 400 block of West Locust Street.

Gunshots: 11:26 p.m. _ Two gunshots were heard on the 1900 block of Norfolk Drive.


Yelling women: 4:38 a.m. — Someone reported hearing a women yell "give me back my gun" on the 600 block of North Cherokee Lane.

BB gun: 12:59 p.m. — A vehicle window was shot out by a BB gun on the 200 block of West Elm Street.

Toy car terror: 2:56 p.m. — A man and his son were racing remote controlled cars into the street causing traffic to swerve on the 0 block of North Hutchins Street.

Wrench: 6:57 p.m. — A woman carrying a wrench was screaming for passerbys to call the cops. She believed she was being chased by two men on the 500 block of North Church Street.

Destroyed signs: 10:38 p.m. — Juveniles near a school on the 300 block of Culbertson Drive were seen destroying the school signs with skateboards.


Gunshots: 3:44 a.m. — Seven to eight gunshots were heard and then a vehicle drove off on the 1000 block of South Stockton Street.

Windows: 3:51 a.m. — Someone was banging on windows on the 600 block of Tamarack Drive.
