In the 48 hours since 9 a.m. Sunday, the Lodi Police Department handled 324 calls for service. The following is a sample of police and fire calls received by dispatchers:
3:01 p.m. — Family members were physically fighting in the 0-100 block of North Pacific Avenue.
Bulk bleach buying
3:12 p.m. — After buying about 30 bottles of bleach, a suspicious sunglasses-wearing man left 99 Cent Store, 300 W. Kettleman Lane, in a gray truck.
3:27 p.m. — Grass caught fire on the west side of the Highway 99 overpass at Kettleman Lane.
6:19 p.m. — A shirtless man was walking in and out of Quik Stop, 205 W. Lockeford St. He was arrested.
Male vs. female
6:25 p.m. — A man was hitting a female on Cypress Street.
7:17 p.m. — People were locked inside A&A Mini Storage, 1025 Industrial Way. Police let them out.
9:07 p.m. — A female was screaming on South School Street. A 24-year-old man was arrested for spousal injury.
9:50 p.m. — A pedestrian stop in the 300 block of East Lockeford Street led to the arrest of two people, one with a syringe and the other with a warrant.
10:32 p.m. — A home was burglarized and ransacked in the 200 block of West Tokay Street.
11:01 p.m. — Two females were fighting outside in the 100 block of West Pine Street. A 26-year-old woman was arrested for battery, while a man was also arrested for public intoxication.
Egg to the face
11:52 p.m. — An occupant of a white station wagon threw an egg and hit someone in the face near Beckman and Turner roads.
12:40 a.m. — A dark gray 2010 Toyota Prius was stolen from inside a Turtledove Court garage.
Stolen car, or maybe not
6:34 a.m. — Though a vehicle was reported stolen in the 200 block of East Tokay Street, it was actually repossessed.
Dine and dash
8:37 p.m. — Diners didn't pay for their meal at Denny's, 701 E. Kettleman Lane. The male driver, who had a spider tattoo on his neck, was accompanied by two females. All left in a maroon Ford sport-utility vehicle.
