Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, The Lodi Police Department received 173 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Suspicious: 8:22 a.m. — A transient was sleeping in a park on the 100 block of Evergreen Drive.
Theft: 9:26 a.m. — A rear license plate was stolen on the 600 block of South Cherokee Lane.
Vandalism: 10:22 a.m. — Three juveniles spray-painted a business on the 200 block of East Oak Street.
Burglary: 12:12 p.m. — a male tried to burglarize a home on the 800 block of South School Street.
Suspicious: 4:13 p.m. — A transient was sitting near traffic on the 2900 block of East Harney Lane.
Vandalism: 6:36 p.m. — Two females slashed the tires of a truck on the 300 block of East Pine Street.
Vandalism: 8:15 p.m. — A suspect was egging vehicles on the 0 block of Applewood Drive.
Burglary: 10:47 p.m. — Multiple cars were burglarized on the 300 block of South Orange Avenue.
Suspicious: 3:22 a.m. — Someone was looking into vehicles with a flashlight on the 900 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Suspicious: 7:33 a.m. — Someone dumped a lunch box and needles in a garbage can on the 500 block of Hilborn Street.
