Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 410 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.


Hazardous man: 8:30 a.m. — A man carrying a briefcase and golf club was seen walking in and out of traffic on the 1900 block of West Tokay Street.

Bathroom climber: 1:02 p.m. — Someone was seen climbing on a bathroom roof at a park on the 400 block of West Elm Street.

Speed racers: 2:49 p.m. — Two males were seen racing motorcycles on the 1700 block of Cherrywood Way.

Loud males: 10:05 p.m. — Males were seen drinking alcohol, and loud music was heard from an apartment on the 500 block of East Oak Street.


Fired BB gun: 3:10 a.m. — Someone was seen shooting a BB gun at cars and a building in a parking lot on the 1800 block of South Hutchins Street.

Yelling women: 2:48 p.m. — A woman was heard yelling and screaming on the 200 block of East Vine street.

Breaking bottles: 8:00 p.m. — Someone was seen breaking bottles on the 200 block of East Locust Street.


Setting up camp: 1:57 a.m. — Transients were seen setting up a campsite at the south end of a field on the 600 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.

Reckless driver: 4:04 p.m. — A young women was seen driving recklessly on the 1400 block of West Turner Road.

Smoking garbage: 5:31 p.m. — Black smoke believed to be caused from burning plastic was seen coming out of a garbage can by the restroom on the 100 block of Evergreen Drive.

On the bleachers: 6:08 p.m. — Four men were seen smoking marijuana on the bleachers of the 200 block of East Locust Street.

Park disturbance: 8:01 p.m. — A group of subjects was being loud in the park on the 600 block of North Pleasant Avenue.

Laser pointers: 8:39 p.m. — Two men on bikes were seen flashing green laser lights at passing cars on the 1600 block of Magic Lane.
