Since 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 328 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Vandalism: 8:04 a.m. — Vandalism was reported on the back of a business on the 500 block of Eden Street.
Follow that car: 8:52 a.m. — A caller said they were following a driver in a teal Chevrolet Tahoe who took items from a nursery on the 700 block of South Ham Lane.
Maybe it’s under construction: 9:33 a.m. — A caller on the 1100 block of Lake Home Drive wanted the orange cones that were put in the driveway of their residence removed.
Drug talk: 11:12 a.m. — An officer was requested to answer some questions about drugs on the 2500 block of Tejon Street.
That’s unsettling: 11:34 a.m. — A male said someone had his personal information on the 300 block of West Locust Street.
You really don’t have a case: 12:41 p.m. — A caller said the person who stole their bicycle is possibly on the 1000 block of South Stockton Street. The caller did not file a report when the bike was initially stolen.
Street fighter: 2:09 p.m. — Six subjects were standing on the 300 block of North Washington Street when three started fighting.
What are you, my cat?: 2:18 p.m. — A white male in his 50s was puking on a bench on the 500 block of South Ham Lane.
Spare the rod, spoil the child: 3:11 p.m. — A 13-year-old male grandson was yelling obscenities in the 1400 block of Sherry Court.
Oh, you wanted that back?: 4:16 p.m. — A caller said they loaned their car to a friend on the 1300 block of East Kettleman Lane and now the subject isn’t giving it back.
Disturbing the peace: 7:46 p.m. — A caller said they were being harassed by a male on the 2300 block of West Elm Street. A man’s voice could be hard in the background.
Those belong to people: 8:34 p.m. — Cabinets were stolen from a porch on the 400 block of East Oak Street.
Fun with fire: 11:01 p.m. — Subjects on the 0 block of South Main Street were lighting things on fire.
Parent of the year: 11:02 p.m. — A driver had a small child on his lap on the 2400 block of West Elm Street.
Disturbance: 12:03 a.m. — A female was refusing to leave the front of a residence on the 300 block of Layland Drive. The female has been harassing the caller for months.
Aww, you’re making a mess: 2:11 a.m. — A “transient-type” male was going through trash cans and making a mess on the 1200 block of South Fairmont Avenue.
Domestic abuse multi-tasker: 7:23 a.m. — A male in a blue Mazda truck with a Washington license plate was holding a female by the arm and hitting a male juvenile on the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Yo quiero Taco Bell: 8:11 a.m. — A small dog was in front of the Taco Bell on the 2400 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Petroleum thief: 8:42 a.m. — Gas was stolen from two vehicles in the 2000 block of Providence Way.
Nuisance call: 9:43 a.m. — A man with long, scraggly hair and a flannel shirt was randomly yelling at people on the 100 block of North School Street.
Taggin’ up turf: 10:08 a.m. — Two juveniles were spray-painting on the 1900 block of Creekwood Drive.
Who let the dogs out?: 1:12 p.m. — Two dogs were running loose and being aggressive towards children on the 500 block of Tuscolana Way.
Can you hear me now?: 1:36 p.m. — Two females were yelling on a cell phone on the 900 block of South Central Avenue.
Did you forget to pay a bill?: 1:56 p.m. — A caller said her roommate locked her out of a residence on the 400 block of West Oak Street.
Funny money: 2:44 p.m. — A clerk said someone tried to pass a fake $100 bill on the 1300 block of West Kettleman Lane.
That’s a caring daughter: 4:50 p.m. — A woman said she believed her daughter stole her pain medication on the 2200 block of Newbury Circle.
You’ll shoot your eye out: 7:09 p.m. — A group of juveniles were shooting BB guns near the 100 block of De Force Avenue.
Bad Samaritan: 8:30 p.m. — A caller said they lost their cell phone and someone found it but wouldn’t give it back unless she paid them. The call came from the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Scavenger hunt: 7:42 a.m. — A male and female were going through garbage cans on the 400 block of East Tokay Street.
