Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday the Lodi Police Department received 190 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.
Two for two: 8:23 a.m.— Two adults stole two chainsaws from a business on the 2900 block of Reynolds Ranch Parkway.
Unsecured: 10:03 a.m.— Someone cut the lock to the garage of a home on the 700 block of North Pleasant Avenue.
Taken: 10:35 a.m.— A bike was stolen from the 800 block of South Cherokee Lane.
Recess?: 10:50 a.m.— A man in a white vehicle took two small children across the street and attempted to get into a locked gate on the 300 block of Culbertson Drive. The children were not taken back to school.
Ecofriendly: 11:32 a.m.— Two men were going through a backyard and stealing recycling on the 0 block of West Vine Street.
Information: 1:02 p.m.— A person came into the lobby of the Lodi Police Department to give information on terrorists, but he refused to talk anymore.
Move out!: 1:47 p.m.— A caller reported that her roommate was throwing her stuff outside on the 300 block of Maple Street.
Landscaping: 1:54 p.m.— A female adult was on the grass digging it up and throwing it into the street on the 0 block of West Lodi Avenue.
Resting: 3:00 p.m.— A man wearing light-colored clothing was down on the east side of the railway on the 2300 block of South Hutchins Street.
Fight!: 3:55 p.m. — Two women were seen fighting behind a business on the 500 block of Hilborn Street.
Strange: 4:10 p.m. — A juvenile was seen climbing into an apartment on the 100 block of North Central Avenue.
Free ride: 4:46 p.m. — Two older men in a silver Pontiac were trying to get a young girl into the car on the 2100 block of Yosemite Drive.
Stolen: 4:52 p.m. — A teal mountain bike left outside not there when came back today on the 0 block of Sacramento Street.
Dog found: 6:07 p.m. — A dog was found on the 1300 block of West Kettleman Lane. The caller turned the dog over to the shelter.
Shots fired: 6:38 p.m. — Possible shots were fired in a disturbance on the 900 block of South Hutchins Street. Witnesses said a Hispanic male and female left the scene in a green pickup truck at a high rate of speed.
Goodnight: 7:30 p.m. — Three to four transients and their animals were laying down on the 400 block of South Cherokee Lane.
Hanging out: 7:45 p.m. — Eight men were loitering on the 800 block of South Central Street.
Celebrate: 9:02 p.m. — Subjects in a backyard were setting off fireworks on the 1500 block of West Lodi Avenue.
Firearm: 9:03 p.m. — A man was in front of a residence with a gun on the 400 block of Maple Street.
Tipsy tracker: 9:26 p.m. — An intoxicated man was following the caller on the 100 block of North School Street.
Cool place to sleep: 12:41 a.m. — A subject was sleeping in the air conditioning unit area on the 0 block of Sacramento Street.
Hole punch: 1:32 a.m. — An unknown person punched a hole into the caller's vehicle door on the 700 block of South Mills Avenue.
Screened entry: 5:54 a.m. A man took the window screen off of a window of a residence on the 1100 block of South Cherokee Lane.
