Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 422 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.

Friday

Checking out windows: 9:22 a.m. — Two males were looking through house windows in the 800 block of South Garfield Street.

Suspicious window washing: 11:36 a.m. — A transient with his dog was washing patrons’ windows in the 1100 block of East Kettleman Lane.

Man screaming at people: 2:40 p.m. — A transient male sat on a planter box for at least an hour at Locust and Church streets. He was screaming at passers-by.

Skate park: 3:57 p.m. — Three males were trespassing inside the skate park in the 1100 block of South Ham Lane.

Reckless driving, waving arms: 5:40 p.m. — Someone was driving recklessly, hanging his head out of the van and waving his arms. He was last seen in a parking lot in the 1900 block of West Vine Street.

Checking out vehicles: 7:32 p.m. — Someone on a bicycles was looking into vehicles in the 1900 block of South Hutchins Street.

Car kicking: 8:26 p.m. — A man was screaming and kicking cars in a parking lot in the 400 block of North Stockton Street.

Saturday

Handle alcohol?: 1:25 a.m. — Loud party in the 500 block of Pioneer Drive. Caller told police that a girl said she’s 16 and can handle her alcohol.

Credit card theft: 10:08 a.m. — Someone is using another person’s credit card number.

Man with gun?: 9:13 p.m. — A man with a gun was reported at a taco truck at Lodi Avenue and Cherokee Lane.

Man tries to open door: 9:43 p.m. — A man on a scooter attempted to open someone’s front door in the 100 block of DeForce Avenue, but the man on the scooter left when he saw someone looking at him.

Homeless camp: 11:21 p.m. — Large transient camp with tents and bonfires was reported at Avani and Mokelumne drives.

Sunday

Cats love tuna: 11:35 a.m. — A cat was stuck up a tree in the 0 block of South Hutchins Street. Police said that officers and firefighters would not respond, and Animal Control was closed on Sunday. Caller advised to place some cat food or tuna at the bottom of the tree, and the cat will come down.

Credit card theft: 12:36 p.m. — Someone charged several thousand dollars on a Farmers & Merchants Bank credit card after the victim’s vehicle was burglarized in the 700 block of South Ham Lane.

Big fight: 4:55 p.m. — Eight males were fighting and throwing beer cans at each other in the 200 block of North Sacramento Street. It started in a liquor store parking lot and spilled into the street.

Baby in danger: 5:45 p.m. — A 21-year-old baby may have swallowed a penny.

Back and forth: 6:43 p.m. — Someone with a pit bull was driving back and forth in an alley about 10 times in the 100 block of Rose Street.

Gunshots: 11:45 p.m. — Several people called police to report about nine gunshots near Church Street and Adobe Court.
